Building hotspots

I'd like to be able to build hotspots within the 2.5d Toolkit by drawing them as easily as I create areas. It could be done?

We've been thinking about it for a while, but it's not trivial.

It is certainly possible, but what we would get is a series of vertex that build our area. We need to figure out how to use them. We could create a transparent mesh from them that reacts to hovering of the cursor. Or we could create hotspots that integrate into various assets for game creation.
